Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Fast cheese bread

Looking for a good alternative to low-carb bread, but do so without a bread machine, I found this recipe a lot to Jennifer Eloff (E www.sweety.com 'best roast, but it also makes a mean French toast, too. Cheesebread Fast Low-Carb-news.blogspot.com 1 cup chopped almonds 2 / 3 cup golden flax meal 1 / 3 cup vital wheat gluten 1 / 3 cup whey protein vanilla 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 / 4 cupButter 2 eggs 1 / 2 cup heavy cream / water mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in butter. In a bowl, then add eggs and mix cream. Stir egg mixture / cream into the dry ingredients just until blended. Scratching in 8x8 greased sheet. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean. Once done, let cool and cut the bread into quarters. Each quarter is further cut into 3 slices. Yield: 12 slices, 1 slice: 152 calories: 10 gProtein, 12 g fat, 2.25 grams of carbohydrates
