How Low-Fat Apricot Bar Cookies


Has your doctor told you to return to the recommended fat in the diet or more grains for you? If so, the recipe for Apricot Cookie Bar, this could be just what you need. This recipe is part of the fat replaced with orange juice and there are more than twice as much flour flour. These are simple changes that will be a healthier product, without taste or consistency. APRICOT> Locations
1 cup + 2 tablespoons flour
02:01 cup all-purpose flour
2.1 tsp baking powder

Filling:

1 3 / 4 cups chopped dried apricots

Cook and stir the apricots, orange juice and water in a 1 liter pot. On medium heat, heatjust to a boil. Reduce heat to low cover and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until apricots are soft and mixture is thickened. Set aside to cool.

Meanwhile the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-inch square nonstick cooking spray sump set by. In a mixing bowl, mix 1 cup flour, the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
