LLVLC On YouTube: Peek In My Low-Carb Cabinets (Episode 35)

Here's another video fromLivinLaVidaLowCarb.com blogger Jimmy Moore and his radiant wife and co-host Christine as they take you on a virtual tour through their cabinets, refrigerator and freezer in today's episode of their popular "Livin' La Vida Low-Carb On YouTube" video series. There was actually a SNAFU with the recording of this video using the FLIP camera--my first problem with it. Although it played back perfectly on the FLIP, when I downloaded it to my desktop, the sound went kaput! Bummer! But instead of whining and complaining (okay, we did a little bit of that, too!) about it, I decided to do a voiceover with the video and it turned out pretty good. Keep in mind, this isn't the ONLY foods we eat because on the healthy low-carb lifestyle you can mix it up and make your menus as varied as you'd like. But this is indeed a good representation of the food we like to eat as part of our low-carb lifestyle. The only major food I didn't show on the video that's a part of my diet is green leafy veggies like spinach. LOVE IT!!! Enjoy this little peek in my low-carb cabinets. Fiber One Haystacks

www.shadesofjaim.com Hershey bar Haystacks (Hungry Girl recipe) (1 Stack - 71 calories, 4g fat, 12 carbs, 5g fiber, 2g protein - 1 WW point) 1 Cup Fiber One Cereal 1 (1.5 oz.) Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar 1 Tbsp. reduced fat peanut butter, smooth or chunky Directions: Melt bar and peanut butter in microwave until smooth, at 30-second intervals. Be careful not to burn or overcook. Stir chocolate and peanut butter mixture. Add cereal and gently toss till coated. Drop onto wax paper, making 6 stacks. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens (about 30 minutes). Serves 6.
